The Sacred Child Alliance is founded on the belief that every child with special needs is precious beyond measure, has inherent dignity, and a unique purpose. Each Sacred Child deserves to be seen first as a whole human being, worthy of love, respect, belonging, and every opportunity to thrive. We believe these extraordinary children do more than require care; they shape the people who love them, calling forth courage, compassion, resilience, patience, humility, and a deeper understanding of what it means to live with purpose, intention and love.
Behind every Sacred Child is a woman carrying an extraordinary responsibility, often balancing a demanding career, family life, advocacy, appointments, emotional exhaustion, and the quiet loss of self that caregiving can bring. Our coaching exists to walk beside her, helping her feel heard, supported, organised, confident, and reconnected to the remarkable woman she has become.
By caring for the caregiver, we honour both the child she loves and the journey she is living.
Julie is an experienced Life Coach to parents of children with special needs.
She is the mother of Crystal Raine, who is a special needs child with Autism, Pervasive Developmental Disorder (PDD), and other serious challenges. Crystal Raine was born in 1997 and has actually “created” a mother who is useful to other parents of children with special needs. Julie always says, “Crystal Raine is the most interesting person I know!”, and anyone who knows Julie is moved by how grateful she is to Crystal for her own emotional and spiritual evolution. Julie feels that had she not been Crystal Raine’s mother, she would have been a watered-down version of who she has become. Instead, Julie shows up in life as a powerful inspirer of minds and hearts, and is adept at helping people navigate the stormy seas in life.
